“My friends and I use IM a lot. You can keep track of your friends using
a “Buddy list”. It shows who is online when you are. You can type messages
for your friends, talk to them.
 Tips
- Make sure the people on your contact list are people you know in the real world.
- If someone adds you to their contact list and you don’t know them, “block” them. It will stop them from seeing when you are logged on.
- Do not include your picture in your profile or personal information like your address and school.
- Use your webcam only with people you know in the real world.
